Rachell's senior portrait turned out so great! We sarted off shooting in my home studio and then moved out to my neghborhood and found some super fun spots for Rachell to shine her true colors. A tree-climber at heart, she was so fun to photograph, least to say we got some awesome shots! Congratulations Rachell and all the best for your college years at St. Mary's! :)
the new senior portrait
After talking with my high school senior clients this year, I learned they all want something totally different for their senior portrait. A portrait that is not only trend-setting but also portrays the generation and the era seniors live in today. What other era than our Digital Age? I took some snaps of my cousin, Michael, who is graduating this year and used his photos to try my new ideas. I went a little crazy on a few, but given the right communication with the senior client, finding out who they are as individuals and what they're into will make their portrait more like a glimpse into their world. Thank you Michael for being the cutest guinea pig ever!
happy graduation shaun! our neighbors and friends, natasha and mike, celebrated their first born's high school graduation last weekend! natasha went all out on the decorations, you would have never guessed the party was at a house in the middle of town, it felt like a tropical paradise. there was live music, yummy food, and shaun's big present was a plane ticket to indonesia for the surfing trip of his dreams! i'd say overall it was a good night!
my favorite senior is a beauty queen
i love taking pictures of vanessa. i still can't believe she's only graduating from high school! she is the most beautiful girl, and her smile is soooo contageous! she was a real trooper for me going out into the desert and sporting her delicate dress amongst the prickly and unforgiving cactus of mesa, arizona. she pretty much charmed the landscape!
