While visiting my family in Arizona, I had the honor of meeting up with this beautiful family as a surprise 10 year wedding anniversary gift from dad to mom.  It was so much fun to be a part of such a sweet surprise and what fun we had at the Mesa Arts Center.

This Mom and Son were such fun to photograph one sunny afternoon in our hometown.  Fernanda and Zion are amazingly beautiful, full of life and always sharing big belly laughs together.  I love all the photos, but I really love the few I caught of the 2 year old coversing with his mom something serious ... like the birds. :)  Click on the image below to view their fun slide show.

Aristotle once said: "What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies."  Well, in this case three.Barbara, Ramon and Sofia have such a wonderful unit and an absolutely beautiful love between them that is contageous. They are the epitome of togethernes, fun and beauty. Eoin and I have known the Runcie-Hernandez clan for a long time, and we love being a part of their growing lives. One gorgeous Carpinteria day we decided to meet on the bluffs, their old stomping grounds, for a portrait sesh for Barbara's new killer website! {Thank you B for letting me use your amazing camera and for supplying the film and your gorgeous family!}

Last week my friends flew me out to their home in Carrboro, North Carolina for some family and maternity portraits. I've known Kara since we were nine years old so seeing her is always like coming home.  I took so many pictures of everything, it was a very pensive working trip for me.  I had to do a lot of traveling during the winter months and it was so nice to have a visit with my oldest friend to welcome me home.  Grab a cup of hot tea and click on the images below to view their slide show. {Can't wait to meet the newest gang member~Love you forever}

While in North Carolina I was able to spend some time with this fun family.  Laura, Bill and their two year old, Morgan, invited me into their home for some family portraits and a little play time along the way. My good friends Stephanie and Thurston brought their adorable son, Jeremiah, to Carpinteria one sunny weekend and during a walk on the bluffs I caught some quick shots of them playing and having fun.  I just love Jeremiah's expressions and how he's constantly making his parents laugh.  Aww family love!  Click on the images below to watch their cute slide show. {Can't wait to see you again soon!
