I ran into my friends Julie and Jay with their baby girl Riley, and wouldn't ya knowit, I just happened to have my camera with me. She is a doll you guys, my stomach was sore from laughing so much. xoxo
G and Nichole {families}
It wasn't too short a time ago when I first met this duo and since then, Nic and I have become dear friends and G knows me as "the cheese". I invited them over to my house for a quick holiday card photo and we just had too much fun. G's mind is so curious about every little thing. I loved answering his limitless questions and explaining our driftwood Christmas tree project and opening up my antique slide projector for him to thoroughly inspect. I love you guys and thanks for coming over to hang out. xo
Shank Family Portrait {families}
The Shank kids decided this year for Christmas they would gift their mom and dad a family portrait. How lucky am I that I was the chosen photographer!? Look at this family! How fun, beautiful and loving. I am so thankful to have met this wonderful clan. xo
Bhe and Marin {We did!}
After hanging out with Bhe and Marin for their engagament shoot, I knew their wedding was going to be classy and unforgettable. Everything about their Cupertino and Saratoga wedding was fabulous and elegant. Even the cold was beautiful, if ever there is a perfect cold wind, that is was indeed. Still, Marin and Bhe glowed and their happiness to be married made everyone full of warm fuzzies. {Click on the images below to view their wedding Slide Show.}
The Whittaker Girls {families}
I had photographed Caitlyn's senior portrait last year so when I heard Anne's message to schedule a family portrait with both of her girls, I was beside myself with excitement. Since they live just around the corner, we decided to meet at the Carpinteria bluffs for some gorgeous sunset light and take advantage of an amazing fall day. When I am around the Whittaker girls, I am reminded of their strength, their resilience and their constant love for each other. xo
Style Me Prettied
I LOVE how much exposure this wedding is getting online. Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse is a favorite of many! Kelly, you are my promo hero!
carson jay {beebies}
The best part of my job is that I meet new people every day and most of my clients remain life long friends. My clientfriends Amy + Stuart just had the most beautiful baby boy and I did a little jiggity-dance-of-happiness when I scheduled his first portrait session. Little Carson Jay is just adorable. I loved meeting him and I'm looking forward to seeing him grow year after year! xo
rachel and chris {we did!}
Rachel and Chris celebrated their wedding ceremony on October 17 in Rachel's hometown upper New York. Chris, is a lawyer for the NOAA plus Rachel, a veterinarian plus their LOVE for Long Beach equals a rockin' reception party for all of their friends who couldn't make NY at the Aquarium of the Pacific. It was an honor and a blessing to be there. xoxo
beautiful katie {bellies}
Katie, cousin to my bride Lori, was only going to be in town for a week, visiting from her hometown in Oregon, where her husband had no idea what we were up to. Sam is in for a BIG surprise! I can't wait to hear about his reaction to your goregous photos. Glad to hear you and baby girl arrived home safe and keep me posted on the birth day! xo
