My cousin Joe married his true love Deb in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this June 5th!!  I was already booked on their date, so I asked my dear and trusted friend, Melanie Marquardt, to capture their wedding day in my absence.  Melanie is a true photojournalist and told their sweet story so well. Brittany and Chris were married at the gorgeous Glen Annie Golf Club in Goleta, California.  Seriously beautiful!! Brittany and Chris are truly good people, something you can tell right away by the company they keep. Family and friends came from all over, Arizona (GO SUNS! Sorry Chris!:)), Arkansas, Kansas and I think I heard Oklahoma too! Brittany looked stunning the entire time, Luna Bella rocks!!  It was a flawless evening coordinated by Scott at GAGC, amazing flower deisgns by Karen Fox, and the celebration continued throughout the night, thanks to Padrick of AMS Entertainment.  {B+C Thank you so much for everything & have fun in Maui!!}

This Mom and Son were such fun to photograph one sunny afternoon in our hometown.  Fernanda and Zion are amazingly beautiful, full of life and always sharing big belly laughs together.  I love all the photos, but I really love the few I caught of the 2 year old coversing with his mom something serious ... like the birds. :)  Click on the image below to view their fun slide show.

I like to believe it's because I'm a Michigan Wolverines fan that convinced Rachel and Tor to choose me as their wedding photographer. :) I love that aside from liking my work, my clients and I connect on a personal level and bond before one of the most important days of their lives.  We met for their engagement session at the Santa Barbara courthouse and ended up at Douglas Preserve and Mesa Lane, one of Tor's favorite old stomping ground.
